A picture of the "I LOVE ME SOME HISTORICALS" Basket!

Just wanted to remind you that our final guest host on IMHO, Stacey Kayne, will be up on March 25, 2009. Keep leaving comments for all of March's guests, and here's a picture of what you're playing for: The "I LOVE ME SOME HISTORICALS" Basket in all it's glory. All this, and a $20 gift card from Amazon.com, too! And the lucky winner will get a sneak peak at Kim Lenox's So Still the Night. Yep, you'll get an uncorrected proof and a chance to read the book before it hits the streets, warts and all. These often turn out to be collector's items, folks.

And just confirmed: I'm thrilled to announce that one of my absolute favorite historical romance authors, Madeline Hunter, will be a guest host for April's giveaway contest. Madeline's wonderful BY DESIGN series actually inspired me to start writing historical romance. Still confirming my other guests, but I'll announce them as I get them signed up. We'll have a good mix of historical and contemporary, and an interesting theme: "The scene/story/book you almost didn't read." (Every writer has that story that sometimes proves difficult to write, or has a bumpy road to publication).

See you Wednesday!

Thanks, Margay and Billie Jo. Yes, I'm very lucky to get Madeline Hunter. I've admired her work for a long time and I'm thrilled that she's decided to be my guest. Can't wait to read about the story we ALMOST didn't read.

Still mulling over what my extra goodie will be for that basket. Did you see the little book light I'm including in this one? And of course, the Amazon gift card doesn't hurt either. Heh heh.

Open to suggestions...within reason (and a starving writer's budget).

Good morning,
Who ever said you can't judge a book by it's cover has NEVER read the deliciousness that is historical romance.

The exquisite journey begins with the cover & keeps right on going.

Cheers

Wow! Where'd you all come from all of a sudden? :-)

Love to see you all here, but let me remind you that the rule is you'll need to comment on at least two of my guest hosts' posts throughout the contest period for March. So, pop back through the March posts and give a read and let the author know what you are thinking. The more authors you comment on, the better chance you have of winning! I cull my gift basket contest entries only from the author posts comments. For more details, check out the contest page on my website at http://www.tjbennett.com.

Have at ye! And yes, this is indeed a drool-worthy basket. You all have NO idea how hard it is for me to let them go... :-)

I am amazed at the various books that Victoria Dahl writes - her range is quite broad - from the "Talk me Down" book - her historical "Lords of Desire" series - looking forward to reading her.

This is my first time here. I came from Stacey's newsletter. But I will be back. :)
First let me say that I absolutely loved Victoria's "To Tempt a Scotsman" and " A Rake's Guide to Pleasure". Thank you Victoria. I love your stories and look forward to reading more of your books.
