RANDOM FREEBIE WINNER AND NEW RANDOM FREEBIE!!

[7/28/09 Ed. note: I've upped the ante. See the comments on the post for details. MWA-HA-HA...]

The winner of Yasmine Galenorn's Demon Mistress Random Freebie is joder! And, joder, you can keep your cat. I’m allergic. :-p

Congratulations! Please contact me (tjb @ tjbennett . com) with a snail mail address within the US or Canada where I can send your book. I’ll need to hear from you by July 30 or I’ll have to pick another winner from all eligible comments.

Let’s celebrate joder’s win by putting two RITA® nominees' books up for grabs, Elise Chidley’s RITA®-nominated book, Your Roots are Showing, and a signed copy of Tamara Leigh's 2007 release Perfecting Kate. Roots isn’t autographed, but I know you’ll enjoy it regardless. (It mysteriously showed up on my doorstep one day--I think the author had a moment of promo distraction--and I asked if I could give it away to you, my faithful IMHO readers. The answer was yes!)

So, for a chance at two RANDOM FREEBIES, start putting your name in the hopper on this post! These are those great trade-sized paperbacks that make you feel like you've really READ A BOOK, btw. You can comment until July 31, 2009, and I’ll chose one lucky winner on August 1, 2009.
You may begin the commenting…

Congrats to joder on her win! The new random books look interesting. I haven't read anything by either author before.

Oh, hooray! I've been hoping to get my hands on 'Roots' ever since it was nominated, but my library doesn't have it and the new reality means no book purchases for entire 2009. (This is not a whine - just excited sharing). And the cover of 'Kate' is interesting - I'm going to go and google it now.

Thanks, TJ!

Ah, I see the "usual suspects" have all shown up... :-)

Just for fun, who can tell me where that phrase comes from and who said it? If you guess correctly, and you are the winner, I'll up the ante and throw in a copy of THE PROMISE, too! *rubs hands together with glee*

I have no clue, but I LOVED the movie of the same name. Gabriel Byrne *sigh*

I posted last night, but it isn't here. "Round up the usual suspect" was said by French prefect of Police Capt. Louis Renault (played by Claude Rains) in The 1942 movie Casablanca.
