I'm a guest at Fresh Fiction today!

Hi, IMHO readers. Just wanted to let you know I am over at Fresh Fiction, today, June 5, talking about THE PROMISE. I'll also have a little more information about the big shindig I'm hosting here on IMHO in July (if you are a member of my newsletter crew, you already know about this. If not, well, there's a good reason to sign up right there!).

If you get a chance, please stop on by and say hello!

Thanks,
TJB

Saw your guest blog on Fresh Fiction. The adult "fairy tale" sounds interesting. You can't leave a brother out there waiting for his story to be told. The Legacy, The Promise, and Peter's story.

Ah, the publishing business is a fickle lady, Patricia. You never know where she'll turn her attention to next.

We'll see what time and the tides bring in.

I'm hoping this is where I comment to be entered to win your gift basket. :-)

This was a great interview, I love hearing about the meaning behind novels, and why people write characters the way they do. :-) I had to smile, too, at “‘It is not good for man to be alone.’” - I was just telling my husband the other day that it's no WONDER God made woman... think of how man would be without her... this was all coming from frustration at Tony Almeda in 24, though. lol I don't want to give anything away in case someone hasn't seen the latest season yet, but it's MADDENING. lol

Thanks for the giveaway!

Waving "hi," Kathryn! I enjoyed meeting you (and pitching with you--you were such a model of "cool and collected"!) in Chicago a year ago. Can't wait to pick up your new book!

Wow. Weddings. Perfect timing. We're gearing up for our oldest daughter's wedding in Austin in November, and so far the tradition seems to be having the wedding ceremony out doors in a parklike setting with the reception indoors at the same place. Note, we got married outdoors in August in the Chicago suburbs--our daughter's picked November!

As this is the first daughter of our three to get married, I'm trying to come up with a little tradition I can start. Something simple, but precious enough, that won't be impossible to duplicate two more times. :) Not that they'd compare notes... :)

Congratulations on the new book!

The interview was interesting. I enjoyed learning how the idea for The Promise was born.
